We are the Strongs – a family of six. My husband Kyle is a follower of Christ, a devoted father, and a loving husband. He provides for our family as an engineering manager and spends his free time building things, hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors. My name is Carrie and I am a homeschooling mom with a passion to help other aspiring homeschooling parents. I enjoy music, being outside, as well as writing books and blogging about inspirations I find in God’s creation. Our children are Elijah, James, Hannah, and Esther. Elijah loves to draw and invent things. James is a talented singer and math whiz. Hannah enjoys dancing, pretending, and helping me bake biscuits or sourdough bread. Our newest addition to the family, Esther, is a sweet, smiling, cooing bundle of joy.

We have traveled a lot and have lived in many places. Right now we are currently residing in the thick woods of the Manistee forest in northern Michigan. One day we hope to have a farm again so we’ve kept the title strongroots.farm. But, wherever we go and whatever we do, it is our desire to take with us our love for Jesus and to leave a wake of blessing to those around us.
